Rules
- Limit of 5 characters
- This makes it so that none of us will get hopelessly mired in our characters different personalities, and keeps one person from having so many characters they have too much power over the story.
- Each character can have a sub-character that is specifically connected to and controlled by the character’s owner. This allows personal villains and even main villains to become possible.
- When the character is listed, the name of the owner of the character will be shown as well.
- If someone does not reply within two weeks, their character will be killed by a God-like being/character that we shall create, unless you speak with an admin about future occurrences.
- All characters that push the boundaries of what already exists must be thoroughly debated between the admins before it is allowed.
- All actions have to be documented in the roleplay. Whether someone was roleplaying with you or not, if your character does something that will affect the roleplaying world in any way, it must be documented.
- Nothing appears out of thin air. No traps, enemies, weapons, items, nothing. Nobody can fit 200 items in their pocket. They must have a way of carrying their stuff.
- When roleplaying in an area is complete, you are to put at the bottom of your post where your character has gone, unless you are purposely being ominous. This way characters aren’t seemingly randomly teleporting around, and people who aren’t roleplaying can read the plot like a story, following one or multiple characters if they want to.
- Wait for confirmation on your character being created before you roleplay with them.
Ideas:
- No one has unlimited pokeballs or potions, you must buy them. This goes the same for other items.
- All equipment for your character has to be documented. They can’t use something they don’t have when their character is made or haven’t picked up in the course of their story.
- This being said, if all of your Pokemon faint and you are out of items, you must head to a Pokemon center IMMEDIATELY.
- Items
- Some items must be purchased from certain NPC's or stores in the area, as per usual in the game.
- Pokemon Battles
- Assuming everyone has a DS and some type of Pokemon game on it, nearly all battles are to be done over DS wifi connection. If you don't have a Pokemon game, or are unable to connect to wifi, the winner of the battle must be decided by the Trainers in the chatbox before rping it
- You don't have to rp the battles out if you are able to battle online. Simply timeskip to the end of the battle, though this is personal preference.
- This website can also be used as an alternative for Pokemon Battles: http://play.pokemonshowdown.com/
- Trainers
- You don't have to be a Pokemon Trainer, as this is how it is in the Pokemon world. You can choose to be just a regular person, a Pokemon Researcher, a Pokemon Ranger, and anything else created by the company or anything you can think of.
- This includes Pokemon poachers as well... just throwing that idea out there to anyone who wants that. (Hint hint)
- Trainers can be harmed seriously, and come to close to death as possible, but cannot die. This being said, they can mysteriously disappear, or their death can be hinted at.
- You don't have to be a Pokemon Trainer, as this is how it is in the Pokemon world. You can choose to be just a regular person, a Pokemon Researcher, a Pokemon Ranger, and anything else created by the company or anything you can think of.
Pokemon
- You are unable to carry an unlimited amount of Pokemon, as the pokeballs must all fit in your bag along with potions and whatnot. This being said, you are allowed to carry a reasonable amount, and I won't constrict it to the 6 Pokemon limit, though in battles it must be max 6 Pokemon.
- This being said, the Pokemon you carry are limited to the ones you have actually caught in-game, have Pokemon cards of, or have decided on earlier.
- To also take into consideration, is that not every Pokemon on your team will be shiny. I will not allow this, so plan to have at least one Pokemon with you not shiny.
- A 6 IV full shiny team is highly unlikely, and cheated Pokemon are not allowed on this website. If your Pokemon's legitness comes into question, plan on defending yourself.
- No fakemon.
- Limit of one legendary per team. You can carry as many as you like, but you can't call more than one out for battle.
- Pokemon can be seriously injured, and come close to death as possible, but cannot die. Memories of deceased Pokemon are allowed, but I'd rather not have a Pokemon's death roleplayed, though can be hinted at once again.
- No roleplaying as Pokemon as a main character, but you can convey their emotions along with your trainers post.
- No Pokemon gijinka's.
- Any Pokemon a trainer has besides the one listed as their main team can be listed in your member profile on the actual RP forums, but you don't have to add this, it's just for the convenience of others.
- You are allowed to have more than one legendary on your team, though this is only allowed in Team Cyclone.
- All members of Team Cyclone must report to the Boss or any of the Admins for their missions, and must actively be engaged on Team Cyclone.
- The more missions you complete and the more you put out a name for yourself, the more you will rise up in the ranks.
Administration
- Administrators must know the owner out of roleplay, otherwise they will not become an admin. (Exceptions to this rule!!)
- Even then, final decision goes to owner.
- Admins must agree on judgement. If one admin feels that judgement is being given in the heat of the moment or emotion, they may bring it up with the owner and the other admins.
- Votes on judgement that affect the entire website must be unanimous. If someone really has a problem with something their opinion should be heard. Owner has final say.
- Admins will have certain assignments.
- One might be the moderator for the roleplayers, another might be the character approval moderator, etc…
